As a crime happens that ANY law enforcement agency (local; state; federal; or international)
need to warn another agency or residential or business neighborhood about;
or they are looking for clues or criminal(s); or lost or kidnapped individuals,
they send a 1-page alert to Fax Net 1 that we fax or E-mail to only the areas law enforcement need to get it to.
There is NO CHARGE TO ANYONE FOR ANYTHING THAT WE DO!
COMMUNICATION SOLVES & PREVENTS CRIME!Preventing crime is a purpose that can unite neighborhoods and communities, which involves everyone in the community putting aside egos to focus energies in positive ways, builds partnerships, reduces crime and fear, and makes communities more vital.  Preventing crime adapts to local needs and circumstances, saves money and heartache, and frees up resources to meet other community needs. 

Crime prevention is not a single program but an approach that both deters crime and enhances community health.  It provides know-how for individuals, neighborhoods, or whole cities; it addresses the physical and social needs of communities, from re-designing streets to formulating social programs.

A community is a gathering of people who live in the same area or who share interests.  A residential neighborhood, a high-rise, apartment or office building, a school, a faith-based organization, a professional society or a civic network can be a community. Our definitions of community have shifted to encompass more than just the place of residence which has made the idea of community even more important. 

Company Profile

  • Fax Net 1, an award winning 501(c)(3) non-profit Arizona Corporation, was founded in 1990.  We have built partnerships with everyone, from local law enforcement to national crime prevention agencies and from local neighborhood associations to large businesses.
  • Our goal is to reduce crime in neighborhoods through innovations in successful crime prevention programs, designed and approved by local and national law enforcement.  We run two to three exceedingly successful crime prevention programs at all times.  Our faxes and e-mails assist law enforcement in locating and apprehending an average of one suspect every NINE days!
  • We call an average of 187,000 fax numbers each year for all law enforcement--local, state, federal and international.  We are instrumental in a large number of successes for law enforcement.  Besides catching those bad guys/girls, these alerts help the public be wonderful eyes and ears for their police departments, which helps both businesses and residential neighborhoods be safer environments.
  • There is NO CHARGE TO ANYONE FOR ANYTHING THAT WE DO!  Fax Net 1 is financed through donation, grants and corporate sponsorship.
  • Our Board of Directors consists of a representative from most all law enforcement in Maricopa County as well as community-spirited corporations.  The Vice Chair of our Board of Directors is Phoenix Police Assistant Chief, Joe Yahner and he is always open for comment.
